Beginner Acoustic
Total Beginner Classes are for just that - absolute beginners! These 6-week classes will start with tuning and holding your guitar and pick, and move into basic chords and song structures, ending with a Showcase with your classmates! 

Already know a few basic chords and strum patterns but don't feel ready for Intermediate level classes? Try Beginner II! Beginner II is a great place to hang out for as long as you want and really nail down the fundamentals of strumming, changing chords, and singing (singing is optional but encouraged!).

First Timers receive a complimentary Girl Guitar t-shirt!

Total Beginner Mondays - GIRL GUITAR  

This is a six-week class that meets at Girl Guitar on Mondays from 7-8pm CT from Oct. 30 - Dec. 11 (skipping Oct. 20) with a Showcase on Sunday, Dec. 17 (location TBD). This class is taught by Mandy Rowden and is for women 21+.  

Girl Guitar is located at 2309 Thornton Studio C. 

Cost for six weeks plus Showcase: $220

Beginner II Tuesdays 5:45pm - ZOOM   

This is a six-week class that meets via Zoom on Tuesdays from 5:45-6:45pm CT from Nov. 7 - Dec. 19 (skipping Nov. 21). This class is taught by Mandy Rowden and is for women 21+.

Cost for six weeks: $220

Beginner II Tuesdays 7pm - COLLIER HOUSE

***18 and up*** 

This is a six-week class that meets at Girl Guitar's Collier House on Tuesdays from 7-8pm CT from Nov. 7 - Dec. 12. This class is taught by Avery Stewart and is for women 18+.

Girl Guitar's Collier House is located at 1401 Collier St. Apt A. 

Cost for six weeks: $220

Beginner II Tuesdays 8:15pm - GIRL GUITAR

This is a six-week class that meets at Girl Guitar on Tuesdays from 8:15-9:15pm CT from Nov. 7 - Dec. 12, with a Showcase on Sunday, Dec. 17. This class is taught by Juliette Buck and is for women 21+. 

Girl Guitar is located at 2309 Thornton Studio C.
