Rock Band Class
This 6-week class is the ultimate way to get rocking on on your selected instrument with a full band! Treated like a band rehearsal, you'll learn a variety of songs, rehearse with your bandmates, and prepare for a full band show at the Girl Guitar Showcase at Antone's! Spaces are limited to 2 Electric Guitars, 1 Bass, 1 Keyboard, 1 Drummer, and 1 Lead Singer. This class also includes a card good for everything listed on the Discount Page! Rock Band Classes are taught by Mandy Rowden, Heather Webb, or Jane Gillman.

Swing Band Class
Looking to fill out your chord repertoire? Pump up your rhythm chops? The Swing Band is part jazz, part blues, and all backbeat! Ella Fitzgerals, The Andrews Sisters, Asleep at the Wheel - we're all about the groove in this 6 week class. We'll prepare for a full band show at the Girl Guitar Showcase at Antone's and you'll receive a discount card good for all the goodies listed on the Discount Page! Space is available for Vocals, Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano, and Violin. Prerequisite: basic knowledge of your instrument (how to bow, strum, play chords, etc.).

Bluegrass Band Class
In this "high and lonesome" 6-week class we'll explore the role of each bluegrass instrument, learn the art of creating a tight rhythm section and experiment with playing solos. We'll also prepare for a full band show at a Girl Guitar showcase at Antone's! Spaces are limited to: Acoustic Guitar, Banjo, Fiddle, Mandolin, Bass, and one Miscellaneous Instrument (harmonica, dulcimer, percussion, etc). Prerequisite: basic knowledge of your instrument (how to bow, strum, play a few chords). Bluegrass class is taught by Jane Gillman.

Folk Band Class
Avett to Lovett! This 6-week class is part folk, part folk rock - with plenty of opportunity to stretch out on your unplugged instrument of choice: vocal, guitar, bass, mandolin, and 3 miscellaneous instruments (percussion, accordion, harmonica, fiddle, etc). We'll prepare for a full band show at a Girl Guitar Showcase at Antone's! Prerequisite: basic knowledge of your instrument (how to bow, strum, play a few chords).

Get your metal on! During this 6-week class you'll rehearse songs for a full band show! There's room for 2 guitars, bass, drums, and a vocalist. Metal Band is taught by Heather Webb.
