Kristen Hall-Guitar/Full Band

Kristen started out as a band geek in middle school in a small East
Texas town. She realized her love of guitar 10 years ago, and
started taking lessons from Trigg Ward. She along with fellow stu-
dent Ben Kweller recently thanked Mr. Ward for his influence when
he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Kenneth
Threadgill Association. She moved to Austin 7 years ago and re-
connected with longtime friend and fellow high school geek Mandy
Rowden and became one of Girl Guitar’s first members and jumped
right into Austin’s live music scene. She is now the guitarist for Guilty
Pleasures. Contact Kristen at Kristen@girlguitaraustin.com.
