Girl Guitar is the brainchild of singer/songwriter/teacher Mandy Rowden.  A lifelong musician, Mandy has played all around Austin with various bands on guitar, keys, and violin.  In March of 2007, after having taught privately for 10 years, she combined her love of teaching, playing, wine, and good old-fashioned fun to form Girl Guitar!

Nikki O'Neill-Guitar/Bass

Nikki O'Neill has taught acoustic guitar, electric guitar and electric
bass to private students in LA, New York City and in Sweden.  She also taught the only university-level class in the United States in
"Women's Contemporary Rock Guitar" at The New School in Manhattan, and she
was a guest teacher at the all-female rock college ELLA in Sweden. She is interviewed in Sue Foley’s upcoming book “Guitar Woman” and
endorsed by Daisy Rock Guitars, Seymour Duncan pickups and Kustom
