Mandy Rowden-Founder/Guitar/Bass/Songwriting

Girl Guitar is the brainchild of singer/songwriter/teacher Mandy Rowden.  A lifelong musician, Mandy has played all around Austin with various bands on guitar, keys, and violin.  In March of 2007, after having taught privately for 10 years, she combined her love of teaching, playing, wine, and good old-fashioned fun to form Girl Guitar!

Mandy currently plays guitar and sings in Austin's all-chick 80's cover band Cover Girl.

Tanya Winch-Songwriting/Voice

In April of 2008, the lovely and talented Tanya Winch joined the Girl Guitar family in the form of fun fabulous Songwriting teacher! A lifelong songwriter, Tanya has performed from the West Coast to Jay Leno and everything in between. Many of our girls have written their first, third, or fiftieth song under Tanya's expert and wildly unique tutelage.
